True Love

Alright. So 2 weeks ago I had the privelege of photographing another old classmate of mine. His name is Vikash and he is a super cool guy! He just bought himself a Camaro and wanted some glamour shots done of his new investment. He drove out to my parents property out in the boonies, because I thought the contrast between the scenery and the Camaro would be really cool. Here are some samples of what we got that day! Thanks Vikash!!

In My Daughters Eyes

This blog entry is from a shoot I did a few weeks ago of a young mother named Mariah Raasch and her darling daughter Alexis. I have had the privelege of knowing Mariah for 4 or 5 years now and her daughter since she was born just over a year ago now. Mariah is truly an inspiration to other young mothers out there. She has stepped up to the plate in every single way to improve her own, and her daughters life. She is truly a talented mother and I was so excited when she asked me to do these family pictures for her.

We started out the shoot on the rail road tracks behind my parent's house. (Personal favorite Location) Within the first few pictures I snapped, I realized that this was going to be an easy shoot. Both mother and daughter are so incredibly photogenic (which obviously makes my job easier) Their combined undeniable beauty really shows in their pictures.

As we continued onto the second location I had picked out I set up a little story time for Mariah and Lexi complete with one of my favorite books The Places You'll Go. By Dr. Suess. I thought it was very fitting for ther perfect picture of everything Mariah clearly wants for her daughter and her self. Surring these special moments of Mariah reading to her daughter Lexi, I was able to get some great shots of Lexi just being Lexi. Curious, and fun, and simply beautiful.

Our third location was an old fence next to a barn where we got some great portraits of Mariah.

Our 4th and final location was a gorgeous field behind out my grandparents house where there was a tractor just calling for a country beauty like Mariah to do some hot mom shots, and whoa!

After we finished up with Mariah we set up a canopy for little Lexi which she very much enjoyed! I love the canapy outside because the kids love it and so it gets the most natural fun loving smiles out of them and you can see the beautiful mountain scenery right through it.

I am delivering Mariah's CD's to her home this evening and I really hope she had as much fun as me on the shoot and that she loves her pictures as much as I do!
